The Bible clearly presents our Heavenly Father as a planner. One could examine the detailed Masterplan for the Tabernacle in Exodus 25-31, and the Masterplan for the conquest of the Promised Land in Joshua 1:1-5. Jesus’ offers a prophetic Masterplan for the End Times in Matthew 24-25. The Scriptures use the word plan or forms of it over forty times. Two such verses that feature Divine planning are found in Job 42:2, “I know that you can do all things; no plan of yours can be thwarted and in Ephesians 1:11. “In Him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of Him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will.
Masterplanning is the process by which an institution creates a BLUEPRINT for its future. Many planners now recommend a Five-Year approach to planning rather than a Ten-Year Plan because of the rapidly changing landscape of our culture.
