Operation West Virginia (OWV) is a church planting movement under the banner of the Central District of the C&MA. This movement was born in 2000 with the aim of re-evangelizing the 1.8 million people of West Virginia by planting a Great Commission church in every one of its 55 counties. Rev. Ken Kelley serves as the full-time Advance Leader of OWV, working out of Buckhannon, WV. Ken may be reached at 304.473.1155 or by e-mail at operationwv@juno.com. Since the beginning of OWV, churches have been planted in Salem, Rosedale, Eleanor, Huntington, Sutton, Philippi, and Martinsburg. Cornerstone Church in Morgantown, previously an independent church plant, became a part of the C&MA and OWV. OWV believes that prayer is the first work. Pastors and other interested intercessors gather on the first Thursday of each month to bathe OWV’s work in prayer.
