Overview
After completing the accreditation and licensing process (which includes placement in a Central District church), you may enter the Consecration and Ordination pathway. This two-year journey of study, writing, testing, and practical ministry experience is designed to equip men and women for vocational ministry. The process is challenging, but valuable as you will be shaped by men and women of God as well as the Word of God for the work God has prepared for you (Ephesians 2). Have a look at our program in detail as well as the scope and sequence of the program. It may also help to have a look at our program checklist to help you see what is involved.
Monthly Meetings
The comprehensive nature of the learning process can seem daunting. We have divided the reading, writing, and study into 18 monthly meetings, providing a step-by-step process to simplify the work and keep you on track. You will work your way through each meeting, connecting monthly with a mentor who will guide you in both the process and in your walk with Christ.
Events and Trainings
We provide trainings and events to facilitate your learning process and in many cases expedite it. Further, the trainings give you the opportunity to build relationship with your fellow consecrants and ordinands as you fight the good fight of ordination or consecration. Many events are required for consecrants and ordinands and mentors alike, so mark your calendars accordingly. Have a look at our Events Page for detailed information and registration.
